Our Annual Report for 2021-2022 is now live.
Our latest report highlights our key activity and measures the impact of our programmes in communities across Scotland.
It also includes an overview of our strategy for 2022-2025, Football Powered, which is designed to tackle the effects of poverty in Scotland.
Key headlines:
- We launched our new three-year strategy for 2022-25 Football Powered
- In December 2021 we supported SPFL associated trusts and clubs (ATCs) to deliver over 3,900 festive hampers to older people facing social isolation
- Our Mental Health Awareness Course reached 134 people, representing 79 organisations
- Over 800 people took part in Football Fans in Training, with 2347 kilograms of weight being lost overall
- Through our sponsorship of the SPFL Trust Trophy, we have showcased the incredible impact Scottish football has in communities
Our CEO Nicky Reid said: “I am delighted to introduce you to our 2021-2022 Annual Report – a period in which we have turned the page to a new strategy designed to make meaningful change across Scottish football communities.
“Football grounds are the beating heart of villages, towns and cities across the country -and now more than ever people need the SPFL Trust and our wonderful clubs and trusts to step up.
“ATCs have always risen to a challenge – and we have been heartened by their continued commitment to using their own means, as well as resources we provide, to deliver change.”
