The Dons have been supporting Oxfam.
AFCCT had a collection point for any unwanted CD’s, LP’s & records, DVD’s and sheet music that where no longer being used to be resold within Oxfam charity shops, the collection took place outside the Richard Donald Stand before their recent fixture against St Mirren in order to support Oxfam. Even the Dons skipper Russell Anderson asked for the support of the fans “Your donations can help people around the world fight their way out of poverty and change lives for good. Oxfam desperately need music donations as these can make up to a quarter of the money raised in some shops.
Selling just 4 CD’s makes a bigger difference than you may think! If 4 individual CD’s where sold then that would actually provide safe water for 10 People in Sierra Leone (country in the west of Africa) and would ensure School supplies for pupils in Ethiopia or even to help families fight food poverty here in the UK.
