East Fife used their funding to apply for a part-time Community Development Worker to oversee an ambitious sector leading community sports hub.  East Fife has run various programmes as a result of this new appointment Delivery of taster sessions to all the local nurseries for children aged 3-5 years of age.  Engaging with new members of the community has worked well – due to high demand for the nursery programme, the club has created an additional 2 weekly sessions.

The grant has allowed a member of staff to begin expanding the clubs community activities.  On the back of this new post, an additional member of staff has been appointed for a 30 hour contract.  This created a consistency throughout all programmes and a familiar face to schools and potential partners.   Ultimately, this has allowed the club to engage with more schools and hold more holiday provisions.
