Our latest report highlights our key activity and the impact of our groundbreaking programmes.
It also includes an overview of the funds that we were able to make available to ATCs to support them during a challenging period.
Key headlines:
- Thanks to generous funding from philanthropist James Anderson, we made a range of funds available to ATCs
- This included a £2.15 million Covid-19 Club Emergency fund, and a £300,000 Covid-19 Community Trust Emergency Fund
- In December 2020 we supported SPFL associated trusts and clubs (ATCs) to deliver over 2,800 festive hampers to older people facing social isolation
- Our Mental Health Awareness Course reached 157 people, representing 104 organisations
- 512 people took part in Football Fans in Training
- We worked with ATCs to develop a new employability programme, CashBack off the Bench
Our CEO Nicky Reid said: “I am delighted to introduce you to our 2020- 2021 Annual Report – a period in which we’ve reflected, adapted and grown against an ever evolving landscape. In turn we’ve continued to deliver our groundbreaking programmes, and supported SPFL associated trusts and clubs (ATCs).
“It’s not possible to reflect on this time without acknowledging the challenges. We have all faced immense changes to the way we live our lives, and for Scottish football this had a huge impact. We’ve seen stands with no fans, games cancelled, community projects paused and a lot of work needed to reopen doors.
“Placed at the very centre of their communities, ATCs have risen to the challenge, and we have been heartened to be able to work with, and support these important organisations.”
