Supporting men's mental health

The Changing Room supports men in their middle years, through a 12-week programme which uses the power of football to tackle poor mental health.

This powerful initiative is funded by Movember, and delivered in partnership with SAMH, the SPFL Trust and associated community trusts and SPFL clubs.

The Changing Room Extra Time

Four community trusts deliver an extended version of the programme;The Changing Room – Extra Time.

Scottish Government - Changing Room Extra Time Programme launch - Pittodrie Stadium - Aberdeen. A programme that uses the power of football to help support people experiencing poor mental wellbeing – using the connection to professional football has been enhanced by funding from Scottish Government. The new Changing Room - Extra Time programme has been awarded £100,000. This new programme builds on The Changing Room existing support service which uses football to bring men together to tackle mental health.
