Behind the scenes: SPFL Trust Mental Health First Aid Training
Written By Admin
Last week, the SPFL Trust held its latest Mental Health First Aid Training course at Hampden Park.
Over two highly intensive days, delegates from across a range of SPFL clubs worked to understand how to help those they work with in the event that their mental health requires immediate support.
This latest tranche of training was partly funded by the Chris Mitchell Foundation, the charity set up in memory of former the Falkirk, Clyde and Bradford City player who died last year.
Sky Sports News were granted behind the scenes access to learn about the training. They spoke to course leaders, participants and Louise Rooney from the Chris Mitchell Foundation.
