Hibernian Community Foundation have teamed up with the Lothian Autistic Society!
This exciting new partnership will to offer autistic children aged 7-16 the chance to build their football skills, interpersonal skills and also help them to make new friends.
An open day will be held on the 24th of January for the children’s parents to come along and hear more about the FREE programme, the play-to-learn approach being used and how the project aims to develop a pathway of support for young people with Autism.
From February, weekly evening sessions will be held at the Hibernian Training Centre in Ormiston, from 6pm-7pm. Sessions will be led by professional coaches who will also be supported by Lothian Autistic Society staff. There is no cost to take part in these activities get yourself along to the Open Day on the 24th January from 12 – 2pm at the Hibernian Training Centre, East Mains, Ormiston, East Lothian, EH35 5NG .
