SPFL Trust Trophy quarter-final and semi-final fixtures
Written By Jake Gray
The SPFL Trust Trophy quarter-final and semi-final draw was made on Tuesday 13 December at Hampden Park, Glasgow.
Host Molly Hyde was joined by Cameron O’Hanlon, who was representing the Falkirk Football Foundation by participating in the draw.
Cameron recently complete the CashBack Off The Bench programme at the Falkirk Football Foundation.
Funded by the Scottish Government’s CashBack scheme, Off the Bench works to provide young people with an opportunity to access education, physical and mental health support to build better futures.
Sessions take place at each of the participating clubs and is delivered by their associated Community Trusts. Young people work towards their SQA qualifications, and Scottish FA coaching badges.
Cameron has successfully completed the programme, and has taken a lot of confidence from it.
“I recently just finished the CashBack Off the Bench course with the Falkirk Football Foundation and have gained a lot of new skills” he said.
“I have developed the skills I already had over the 12-week course, as well as noticing myself getting fitter.
“We had visitors coming and doing talks with us and done football drills and conditioned training through games.
“The thing I enjoyed the most was meeting new people and I have gone on to volunteer as a coach with the foundation.”
