East Stirlingshire Galaxy, the charity arm of East Stirlingshire Football Club, used their funding to deliver a programme for preschool children in the local areas of the Falkirk District.  This was a first for the club – a programme designed specifically for local children of the pre-school age which was delivered by the club.  16 community based taster sessions were held with marginalized young people between the ages of 5-16 years engaging in the programme.  Overall, this meant that 225 young people in SIMD areas benefited.  Following a successful pilot programme, the club intend to roll the programme out to other areas in the near future.
