Celtic Foundation ran a 10 week ‘Still Game’ programme in partnership with the Inverclyde Community Trust which focused on positive engagement with males and females over 60 years of age based in the Inverclyde area.   Workshops included art, music, healthy eating, home/community safety presentations.  Activities were delivered in an educational, fun and informative manner with some light physical activity involved also.  Participants also received a free tour of Celtic Park and Lennox town training facility.

Celtic also ran an 8 week programme in the Glasgow area.  ‘The Result’ project engaged with both males and females from any age group, who were diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.  In addition to participant self-referrals, referrals came from GP’s and Practice Nurses.  The workshops promoted a mixture of positive educational and physical activity.
