Give the Glory competition – winners announced!
Written By Jake Gray
Whoever wins the SPFL Trust Trophy final, one lucky supporter is going to have the honour of presenting the trophy.
Two very special supporters have been nominated by their own supporters to Give the Glory if their team wins!
The winner for Raith Rovers is Lucy Cook, who is travelling all the way from Lancashire to cheer on the Rovers in the hope that they can win the trophy once again.
Lucy, who came to love all things Raith Rovers through her friend and colleague Frank Suttie, first watched the Kirkcaldy side on BBC ALBA as they defeated Rangers in the final of the 2014 competition.
Late last year, Lucy was diagnosed with cancer. She is hoping for another success like 2014 today.
The winner for Hamilton Academical is 20-year-old Brandon Smith.
Brandon is a loyal Accies supporter who has followed his team home and away, through the good times and the bad. Brandon celebrates his 21st birthday this year – and is here to enjoy a dream day.
Both winners are enjoying a special day as VIPs in hospitality, before one of them gets the ultimate moment – handing over the silverware.
May the best team win!
