Big Hearts Community Trust Has Teamed up With Scotland’s Favourite Sponsored Walk Event To Raise Funds for Scotland’s Children’s Charities.
The charitable arm of Hearts Football Club (Big Hearts Community Trust) is hoping to enter a Jam-Tart army of 200 or more fans, to take part in this year’s Edinburgh Kiltwalk to raise funds for their own charitable initiatives as well as the charity partners of the Edinburgh Kiltwalk itself.
The Big Hearts chairman Jim Panton said:
“Having the opportunity to see Big Hearts represented at the Kiltwalk is fantastic. As we have seen in recent times Hearts fans always raise the bar when it comes to representing the club and I am certain this will be no different.
“Given the changes taking place at Big Hearts, the funds raised will be of great importance as we support families within our community.”
This Kiltwalk will be leaving from Murrayfield Stadium on the 3rd May with thousands expected to take part
Big Hearts Community Trust will receive just 75 per cent of all funds raised by their Jam Tart Army, with the rest being divided between Edinburgh Kiltwalk’s charity partners.
Walkers are able to vary between either the 26 mile “Full Walk” for everyone over the age of 13 and also a Half Walk for everyone over the age of 10 and a six mile Wee Walk which is open to anyone who wishes to take part.
