Charles Barnett

Our treasurer, Charles fulfils this role following a successful career as a partner in PKF, and latterly BDO. He continues to advise a range of clients.

Charles joined the board to retain an involvement in football as it was a sector specialism for him whilst in practice. He was keen to become involved in charitable work and wants to ensure that the SPFL Trust and football make a positive difference to society.

Charles credits the success of the SPFL Trust to the wide range of people that are involved – the very efficient staff, the funders, government, football at all levels from the clubs’ community organisations, through to the SPFL itself.
